Final day of the “Leadership in European Policy” Conference, I had the pleasure of contributing to a stimulating discussion on the future of democracy with @alemannoEU (@HECParisLaw, @TheGoodLobby), Michael Zürn (@WZB_Berlin), @KeithPrushankin, Carolina Gerli, and @ToinePaulissen

What a week it has been! Presenting #policy recommendations for improvements of the #EuropeanCitizensPanels and tranforming participative and deliberative #democracy in #Europe with @HQLevelUp at @the_europaeum Scholars final module at @FU_Berlin this week! 🫶🗣️👨‍💼🇪🇺

Democracy and human rights enable us to live in peace and guarantee the dignity of all people. This can only be achieved if everyone respects the principles and rules of #Democracy and #HumanRights. Relevant lifelong #education is therefore necessary. #DemocracyDay

And last but not least, we are preparing for our participation in the @coe World Forum for Democracy @CoEDemocracy, where we will present our findings and share our experience with more than 2500 participants from more than 100 countries, covering all continents. 🤩How exciting?!

We will participate in a public leadership #conference where our projects seeking to make a difference to Europe will be discussed with a stellar panel of speakers including @philipproesler, @StelaLeuca, and @j2bryson. More info here: europaeum.org/european-leade…

After a week spent at @helsinkiuni Lammi Research Station, our @HQLevelUp has polished the Toolkit for better #democratic #engagement events, now available on gamifydemocracy.org/toolkit/, while also finalising policy recommendations for European Citizens' Panels (available soon!)

We have been selected to participate in the @coe World Forum for Democracy in November 2023 We will share our experience and key lessons, joining insights from multiple disciplines with the ambitious objective of improving democracy in Europe #CoE_WFD @CoEDemocracy

We had a very productive and creative day discussing the future of @HQLevelUp! Reflecting on lessons learned from our pilot projects, we are currently planning the policy report we’ll present to the @the_europaeum jury and alumni network in September 2023 🚀
