I am against this LDP color change on wiki. I’m not against LDP being red per se. But if we change it, we change it throughout, not just English wiki after 2017 (and assign the DPJ a different color).

Wikipedia changed the LDP color from the proper green to a shade of red. It looks just like the color of their former opposition party rival, the DPJ. Yet another stupid and unnecessary change.

The DPJ was able to turn it around from nothing in just 4 years wining an absolute landslide! The LDP was decimated. Amazing.

Legalising it has: - raised the prestige of monogamous long-term marriages among gay men - made being gay less of a clandestine secret culture - integrated gay men as productive members of society with many positive effects So everything conservatives *should* want came from its legalisation, despite it having been something they opposed.
