We have AMAZING news: Daw Myo Aye, leader of Solidarity Trade Unions of Myanmar (STUM), has been released from prison! She was held in Insein prison since April, known for inhumane conditions&overcrowding. Daw Myo Aye's health was deteriorating but she was denied medical care.

Like the rest of the human rights community, we are shocked by the attack against @hrc_memorial yesterday during a screening of a film about the #Holodomor as well as the subsequent raid by law enforcement of Memorial's offices and detention of Memorial staff members. 1/2
