Discussed with @KarlNehammer, Vice-President of the @EIB, the expansion of cooperation in the energy sector. Today, cooperation with the European Investment Bank already covers 8 projects worth €1.3 billion. We are grateful for the consistent support that helps strengthen the resilience of 🇺🇦 energy system. Outlined key priorities: preparation for the upcoming autumn-winter period, restoration of damaged infrastructure, and implementation of medium- and long-term projects. We called for expanding the project portfolio and supporting new initiatives, particularly in the areas of energy infrastructure protection, restoration of generation, networks and the gas sector, as well as the creation of equipment reserves. Among the specific areas of cooperation: ▪️ a new electricity grid resilience project ▪️ support for substation protection ▪️ development of cross-border interconnectors and integration with ENTSO-E ▪️ decarbonisation projects ▪️ hydropower development. We count on the continued participation of the EIB in financing key projects that strengthen the resilience of Ukraine’s energy system. _____ Обговорили з Віцепрезидентом Європейського інвестиційного банку Карлом Негаммером розширення співпраці в енергетичному секторі. Сьогодні співпраця з ЄІБ уже охоплює 8 проєктів на суму 1,3 млрд євро. Вдячні за послідовну підтримку, яка допомагає зміцнювати стійкість енергосистеми України. Окреслили ключові пріоритети: підготовка до наступного осінньо-зимового періоду, відновлення пошкодженої інфраструктури та реалізація середньо- і довгострокових проєктів. Звернулися з проханням розширити портфель проєктів і підтримати нові ініціативи, зокрема у сферах захисту енергетичної інфраструктури, відновлення генерації, мереж і газового сектору, а також створення резервів обладнання. Серед конкретних напрямів співпраці: ▪️ новий проєкт стійкості електромереж ▪️ підтримка захисту підстанцій ▪️ розвиток міждержавних інтерконекторів та інтеграція з ENTSO-E ▪️ проєкти декарбонізації ▪️ розвиток гідроенергетики. Розраховуємо на подальшу участь ЄІБ у фінансуванні ключових проєктів, які посилюють стійкість української енергосистеми.

We have signed a €500 million deal with HOWOGE, our largest housing financing in Germany in a decade. This financing will support around 3,200 energy efficient homes by 2029, with 50% for subsidised rental. It supports people and reduces energy costs. 👉go.eib.org/Housing_Germany
