You likely had money on your Amazon account, which it will count as a gift card. For example, if you returned items and chose for them to be refunded to your Amazon account balance instead of the original payment method. Refunding to original payment method is kind of hidden because Amazon doesn’t want you to actually get your money back if they can avoid it. My guess is it is partly because of credit card fees they are absorbing.
