@jnebby2 @swmckewonOWH This he’s simply playing it “down” in front of the media but in the locker room/behind the scenes it really means everything to get a bounce back W? I could see this being a psychological move but maybe I am wrong 🤷🏻♂️

Nebraska coach Matt Rhule kinda played down the Iowa rivalry thing but his last answer, in reference to last year's game, speaks to how much Black Friday is a summary statement for the program.
"They want to win the war of attrition in the fourth quarter. Nothing we do today is going to matter on Friday as much as every day that we've lifted, every day that we've eaten - trying to go from a bad football program to a program that can compete against them - is important."

@HooterHusker @SkersNews Cignetti isn’t a culture fit at Nebraska, arrogant SOB… pass
English

@SkersNews If Penn state gets Rhule then that leaves Cignetti open. Cignetti can do more year after year in Lincoln than he can at Indiana. Like Rhule has said, when he got to Nebraska it was a good job, now it’s a great job

@BlakeArthur24 @jamespruch A LOT of season left, I think if you take some of the positives from the game (albeit wasn’t a ton) this was the tightest we’ve played Michigan in the past 3 meetings. They’re good but they’re definitely not top 10 good. I think we will see how the Huskers respond in 2 weeks 😉
English

@HRTomTom @jamespruch Michigan didn't need to pass. I'm a Nebraska fan. Mich controlled the game at the LOS. That's where games are won and lost, especially in the Big Ten.
English

Nebraska had a better success rate than Michigan on Saturday.
Translation: Michigan wasn’t as dominant as ppl think.
parker fleming@statsowar
📊🏈DID WE REALLY GET BEAT THAT BAD Net Success Rates in Week 4
English

@BlakeArthur24 @jamespruch Don’t disagree that Nebraska got dominated on both lines but the point you’re making is that Nebraska couldn’t run the ball, well statistically speaking we didn’t need to avg. 7.5 yards a pop through the air, we also left 10 points on the ground in the first two drives alone.
English

@jamespruch Meh. Save for the Hail Mary (Michigan mistake), penalty-led TD (Michigan mistake) and backdoor TD - they dominated.
Nebraska & Michigan each had 31 rushes.
Mich - 290 total yards, 9.4 per
Neb - 43 total yards, 1.4 per
Story of the game right there. Got exposed at the LOS.
