JUCO and 4-Year Transfer Pitchers. The University of Southern Indiana is hard at work trying to find guys who can come in right away and help us compete on the mound. We will be transitioning to the NCAA D1 level and will be members of the Ohio Valley Conference next year.

The metrics required to play in D1 baseball are well understood and documented. If you don't fit these metrics now, there are options. Juco/D2/D3 is a good fit for late-bloomers. You can still use the transfer portal to replace the early commit D-1 players that don't make it.
