We’re incredibly proud to share that Novema and Sheylie performed the National Anthem and Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī at UH Men’s Volleyball Senior Night alongside the Maui Fire Department Honor Guard. Mahalo to Kale Kanaeholo for capturing these amazing performances.

Our hearts are heavy as we remember our beloved Security Guard, Uncle Curtis. This week, students honored him by visiting his chair, talking story, and reflecting on the aloha he shared. We are grateful for the touching video from our SBG President.

We are heartbroken by the passing of our school security guard, Curtis Cidade. He wasn’t just security -he was an uncle and a friend. His kindness and aloha spirit will always be remembered. Sending love to his family and our school community. 💚

Work-Based Learning (WBL) in action! 🌱 Mr. Breland taught students how bolting affects leafy greens and why washing produce helps prevent rat lungworm. Students wrapped up by planting ti and ferns - hands-on learning at its best!

A huge congratulations to Khemar Kellum and Caleb Kepo'o for making it into the Top 8 out of 52 competitors in the RIT/NTID Math Competition! Both 8th graders worked incredibly hard, and their determination and love of math truly paid off. #ntidyouthprograms

Last Friday, our school went all in on the Genki Ball project! Everyone knew exactly what to do and had a blast working together. Thanks to the Genki Ala Wai Project, we’re proud to help clean up the Ala Wai Canal and make it safe for fishing and swimming.

Our high school science students got their hands dirty. They planted vegetable seeds in the raised bed garden right on campus! With time and care, the garden will be full of fresh vegetables!

Our students took action for our ʻāina today, rotating through hands-on activities like making genki balls, repurposing milk cartons into bird feeders, and beautifying our campus! Caring for our land and making a difference, one step at a time!

We’re very proud of our elementary and middle school students who performed at the 33rd annual Deaf Santa event at Pearlridge Center! After weeks of practice and facing stage fright, they truly excelled. Mahalo to everyone who helped make this event a success.
