One useful reality check for RWAs: Most issuers are not tokenizing to create trading liquidity yet. They are tokenizing to raise capital more efficiently. In the Brickken survey, 53.8% said capital formation was the main reason to tokenize. Only 15.4% said liquidity was the main driver. That makes sense. A lot of this market is still in the foundation stage: > issuance > legal structure > compliance > investor access Also worth noting: > 69.2% of issuers are already live > 84.6% say regulation is still slowing them down So yes, tokenization is growing. But for most issuers, distribution still matters more than 24/7 trading.

They’re growing by wrapping existing ones: > Treasuries > Credit > Funds That changes how capital enters crypto. Instead of: New tokens → new demand We’re seeing: Existing capital → new rails Same assets. Different infrastructure. That’s why growth is accelerating. No need to bootstrap liquidity. You’re importing it. And that shifts where value accrues. Not at the asset layer. At the wrapper and distribution layer: > Tokenization platforms > Compliance rails > Access points The assets are already priced. The edge is in how they move. RWAs aren’t creating new markets. They’re re-routing existing ones.
