We recently had the pleasure of hosting representatives of the @awwa, @DrakeState, Morrow Water Technologies, & @USPipe1899 at our SE Water Treatment Plant, where they gave presentations on new technologies & Drake State's Underground Utility Workforce Development Initiative.

UPDATE (1:30PM) @NWSHuntsville has increased the risk level from 1 to 2 (Slight Risk) for Madison County. Timing window remains the same.

⛈️WEATHER ALERT!⛈️ @NWSHuntsville has placed the entire HSV Utilities service area under a marginal risk for severe weather today. The primary threats are wind gusts of 60mph or greater and hail of 1" or greater. Although the risk of tornadoes is low, it cannot be ruled out.

Please note that for the next two weeks, contractors working for Huntsville Utilities will be in the New Market area performing utility pole inspections as part of our annual inspection program.
