The Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel situation is obviously a unique and certainly odd one. We discussed it briefly on last night’s livestream. While they can claim that they were there with friends, there are multiple pictures of the two of them with nobody else in sight. Russini claimed that “reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues,” which is true. But this seemed like potentially more than that. I’ve never seen photos of Shams Charania pool side with Jeanie Buss, hugging and interlocking their fingers together. Regardless of what was truly going on, it’s not a good look. But especially when you factor in Russini’s reporting about the Patriots and their interest in Eagles WR A.J. Brown. While Russini isn’t the only one to report those rumors, now her integrity and true motive behind the reporting will be called into question. …and once that line of journalistic integrity (or lack thereof) is blurred, that’s where things can become messy and quickly get out of hand. On the bright side, I’ve enjoyed not reading any Jalen Hurts nonsense for a few hours. 😉
