Getting warm now! Less than 30 miles till the world record, and 6.5hrs in hand still, after a bacon sandwich break.

Last night-time lap, next pictures will be in the sunshine! 347km, 13h17. Still looking good.

12h37m, 330km. 140km to go for the record. Looking forwards to sunrise and some warmth, but not to the afternoon heat!

10hrs in, 265km done and slowly moving up the rankings. 205k to go for the U20 world record.

200k done in just 7h20. But it gets exponentially harder with fatigue from here…

First “long” stop, after 120k and 4hrs. 10 mins for dinner, device charging and quick bike check. Now into the long overnight hours…

15 second pitstop to reload with energy drink and sugary snacks! Still lapping at 30kph, some way ahead of the 25kph target.

Second lap- gets very dark very quickly in the desert!

First lap done, coming in for a visor change for nighttime. Going very well, first lap a bit faster than planned.
