With the Season over.. Our first season in @GladiaLeague and we made the Playoffs! Nothing to hang out heads over! Approaching that time of year where changes will take shape. Personnel come and go, as is the business. 2025 Season though? That was special. Thank you!

Didn't end how we wanted but in our first Season, we did plenty of good. Something to build on if the @GladiaLeague continues to grow, so shall we..

//Once again, I apologize for the mix up. The GFL cup featuring Salem Vs Chicago will be simmed again tomorrow and announced for the end of the GFL season!

Two huge runs from Lyric take us into the fourth quarter. Salem 24 Houston 16

Houston's first possession of the second half leans heavily on Hope Russo. 5 catches and two reverses that take Houston deep into Salem territory despite 3 costly penalties but the drive stalls at the 18 and Houston takes the field goal.

Houston can't do anything on their next possession, ending up with a three and out from deep in their own teritory. Salem gets a big return into Houston territory and finds the endzone again after big runs from Saoirse and Lyric, who finds the endzone on her next carry. 44-19

Houston tries to score quickly but cannot move the ball agianst the Salem defense and ends up with a 4 and out....and Salem kneels the remainder of the clock out. Salem wins and advances. 44-19

And in the second and final first round game the Houston Blaze travel to Salem and face the Weavers!

Houston locked down in the fourth with another touchdown throw, this time to Hope Russo to put the game away 34-13 Houston wins!

Montreal opens the third half with a score of their own when Zoey Sparkle got three on a 10 yard touchdown run. The next drive Houston answered with a 40 yard touchdown pass to Lexi Gold. Montreal answers with another field goal as the third came to an end.

Houston scores on their opening drive of the second, a second touchdown throw, this time to Hope Russo. They added a field goal midway through the second. Not to be shut out, Montreal manages another field goal as the first half expired.

Each team starts off slow with back to back three and outs from each team. Houston strikes first on a touchdown drive ending in a touchdown pass to Lexi Gold. Montreal answers with a field goal to get on the board as the quarter expires.

And in the final game of the day The Houston Blaze, needing a win themselves in order to keep their playoff hopes alive visit Montreal who wants to play spoiler.
