ドイツに無事着いたのですが、アジア人が少なくて（当たり前）、午後6時でも昼間のように明るくて、日差しが強いけど湿気ってなくて、売ってるものが全然ちがくて、言葉も全然わからなくて、でもつたない英語で道を聞いたらみんな優しく教えてくれて「Have a nice day!」って言ってくれてすごく嬉しくて、なんだか自分が自分ではないみたいなフワフワした気分で、そして何となく買ったサラダが山盛りで、豆が超いっぱい入っていました

Operating since 1898, this is the oldest bakery in Amsterdam, and they still make this iconic treat exactly the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Unlike the dry, pre-packaged versions you find in supermarkets, these are baked fresh right in front of your eyes. The baker presses a ball of spiced dough into a hot iron, slices the thin waffle open while it’s still steaming, and spreads a generous layer of warm, gooey caramel syrup inside. The result is a perfect contrast of a crispy, buttery exterior and a rich, melting center. Traditionalists love to place them over a hot cup of coffee or tea for a few minutes so the steam makes the caramel even gooier
