What makes football great is that, at the end of each year, the worst three teams go down. We are objectively one of the worst three teams this year, if not the worst outright. If you don’t have the bottle for it, go play tennis or something.
All Things Thai Football 🇹🇭@ThaiFootballs

More than a decade in the top flight with 4-time league champions. They were one of the biggest club. An important part that helped shaping modern Thai football. Today, Muangthong United are officially relegated. That’s football. No one stays at the top forever.

.@spencerpratt's mayoral run is a blatant grift. He's weaponizing the wildfires for sympathy while chasing taxpayer-funded perks, including the mayor's mansion. When questions surfaced about his eligibility after moving to his parents' Santa Barbara County home, he took out an SBA loan, bought an Airstream trailer, and had it craned onto his burned Pacific Palisades lot just to manufacture LA residency for his campaign. Why should anyone trust him to manage a city when he couldn't manage his own checkbook? He and Heidi torched $10 million on her failed music career, $4,000 bottles of wine, and a million-dollar crystal collection before nearly declaring bankruptcy. Now he wants access to City Hall and all the perks that come with it?

"He (Weah) needs to (talk) on the field... it's not his duty to evaluate the price of the tickets."- Pochettino As tone deaf as it comes from the highest paid Manager in the history of the #USMNT.
Paul Tenorio@PaulTenorio

Asked about high World Cup ticket prices and Tim Weah saying they are "disappointing," USMNT's Mauricio Pochettino said focus should be "on the pitch" and to leave questions to FIFA. "We are not politicians. ... It’s not up to us to provide our opinion." nytimes.com/athletic/70080…

No morals. I reported this on Friday on my Twitter feed. Time after time I report things ahead of him and he doesn’t give me credit for it. It’s a pattern at this point. He just thinks he monopolizes reporting information and no one will call him on his disgusting behavior.
Tom Bogert@tombogert

Sources: San Jose Earthquakes have signed highly rated academy forward Tomo Allen to a pro deal. One year in MLSNP then homegrown. Allen, 18, played for Stanford this year. He has Japanese heritage ... had interest in Asia (and Europe) before signing with Quakes.

@soccerreform Cuz there’s no way to get to a goal if it’s not under a singular direction. Needs to be everyone else vs MLS. Then eventually after the system is created and has leverage then mls will come around and be the top of the pyramid

@HUFFtheSTUFF I agree. But why not help organize the rest of American soccer into an open system instead of buying them up or attempting to swallow them whole?

Instead of swallowing, why not organizing and opening? #ProRelforUSA
Derek Huffman@HUFFtheSTUFF

@USLTactics If usl wants to be successful it just needs to start swallowing up everything underneath it so it has leverage against mls, I don’t think ppl understand how big American non league system could potentially be. Promotion relegation within 2 divisions could be a lot of the same.

@MALGIS31 @soccerreform lol if there’s no upside to 5-6 division pyramid then what are we even talking about? Pro rel will never work then based on ur logic.

@HUFFtheSTUFF @soccerreform The same no one who will back 5-6 levels of minor leagues. There’s just no upside to such investments unless USL can generate MLS level revenues & invest in major league facilities. They have a better shot at that without prorel but even but it’s still high risk low reward.

@MALGIS31 @soccerreform Who’s gonna back 2 divisions usl against MLS? It doesn’t make sense 2 division pro rel isn’t a serious product to invest in. 5-6 division pyramid is a real product. It has to be everyone else vs mls or theres no shot.

@HUFFtheSTUFF @soccerreform USL could have 20 levels. Until they get more $ and actual major league facilities they will always be a minor league. MLS survives because they had a couple of investors willing to suffer through the early growth. Who will do that for USL?

@soccerreform Well because usl has no leverage against mls. So in order for them to get leverage they should buy every other soccer platform below it. In order for pro rel to work in America it’s gonna need a lot of divisions, 5-6 imo. 6 division pro rel has a chance against mls. 2 diva doesnt

You have to appreciate the mentality, but neither Mexico nor any other country in CONCACAF has the capacity to win the World Cup. Only eight countries have ever claimed that title, and there’s a reason for it. Mexico, along with all other CONCACAF teams, should aim for a deep run in the tournament.

Three things: - I couldn’t feel worse for John Bradford, these players, and NCFC fans - This was always on the radar once the Courage sale fell through - Bad optics for a club that just jumped back to USLC to say “it’s not financially worthwhile to stick until pro-rel + D1”
