This term we have been looking at the signs of Autumn. As artists, we used salt dough to create an Autumn leaf, we then used autumnal colours to paint them. Take a look at the display outside of our classroom. 🍁🍂🍃

In PE, we have enjoyed climbing and jumping using different apparatus to improve our gross motor skills. We remembered to use bendy knees to jump and use our arms to help us balance! ⭐️

So wonderful to see lots of families popping in at the end of the day to read. You are welcome in after school every day! 📖

We have been learning about the season Autumn. We know that pumpkins grow in autumn so today we cut one open to explore the insides. We used great oracy to explain what we could see, feel and smell 🎃

We were so excited to eat our delicious bread that we made and baked yesterday 🍞 We spoke about how delicious it smelt and how the crust was a golden brown.

We have been very busy making bread - just like The Little Red Hen. 🐓🍞

We have been developing our gross motor skills on our speedy balance bikes 🚲

We are so proud to have the highest attendance in school. What a brilliant start to our eduction, every day counts! Let’s keep up the great work 💯

We brought our talk for writing story of The Little Red Hen to life today. We met a real hen 🐓! Beech class demonstrated courage by stroking the hen gently. 🌾

We have a variety of school tours available for children starting Reception in September 2026! We look forward to seeing you there.😃
