We were proud to stand with changemakers at the 3rd LightUp Impact conference uniting voices for gender and climate justice. Over 2 inspiring days, we connected with incredible young leaders and grassroots movements driving bold solutions for a more just and sustainable future.

We were honored to host the Stichting Dioraphte team via @shesthefirst whose support continues to help us reach more girls in informal settlements with safe spaces to learn, lead & thrive. Here’s to the girl who dreams, leads & becomes the change she wants to see. #DayOfTheGirl

This year’s theme on this #DayOfTheGirl 2025 feels personal. Girls, when given space, information & love, lead in how they care for each other, how they show up, how they dream. A heartfelt thank you to @shesthefirst for believing in this journey & walking with us at @HVMKenya .

2) From laughter in our icebreakers, to good vibes in the dance sessions and the heartfelt moments in the support circle, the adolescent girls reminded us that when given knowledge, safe spaces and encouragement, they rise with confidence and hope for their futures. #GirlPower

1) Last Saturday we were in Kiboro Primary School in Mathare. We gathered over 40 amazing girls and together, we explored SRHR and menstrual health, built confidence through dream-sharing and self-expression, and opened up conversations on mental health and coping with stress.💜

2) We’ll be creating safe spaces to learn, share & grow while covering: 🌸SRHR & Menstrual Health - Breaking myths & building knowledge. 💪Confidence & Self-Esteem - Empowering girls to believe in themselves. 🧠Mental Health - Recognizing emotions & learning simple coping tools.

Yesterday in Kibra, the voices at @saviourkingedu1 shone bright!✨ We spent the day mentoring Grade 7 &8, creating a safe & supportive space for them to learn & grow.💜 We are proud to walk this journey with them, ensuring every kid has the support to thrive in school & beyond.
