Year 2 have made it to the beach! Whoop!

Excitement is high @ReadingHexagon… the choir are getting ready to perform as part of the Junior Music Festival! 🎵Thank you to the amazing team @BMaestros for putting it all together and for this wonderful opportunity!

Today our hockey team are playing in a tournament @BracknellSSP It looks like they are having a great time! As always, thank you to the organisers and the amazing Miss McGrath and Mrs Papps for the encouragement, support and opportunities they give our children.🏑🌟

Our World Book Day celebrations are in full swing with a focus on non fiction books and inspirational people! We’ve also been treated to some performances of Julia Donaldson stories. #worldbookday 📚📚Thank you to the team for organising it all!

Proud of our Badminton team today! They came 2nd @BracknellSSP event and showed exemplary sportsmanship! Thank you to those who organised it and to Mrs Papps and Brian our coaches who volunteered their time to make it all all happen! 🌟🏸

Before half term, some of our key stage 2 children had the opportunity to visit the local library. They had a great introduction to the services available and had fun hunting for books in the treasure hunt!

It’s Young Voices Day for HWPS! The choir are at Wembley Arena today to sing with thousands of other children! There is much joy and excitement! 🎼🌟

Fabulous pop-up Sutton Hoo Exhibition in Year 4 this afternoon as part of their home learning for their project, How have we benefited from the Anglo-Saxon Legacy? Amazing artefacts -Well done Year 4!

Great start to our new project -Would you want a volcano in your back garden? We looked at what would happen when the pressure builds up in a volcano!

Year 2 are getting musical today! They are playing in a junk orchestra and building their own instruments!

Year 3 have been investigating which materials are magnetic to start our new project Are magnets always a force for good?

Today @MandMTheatrical visited us with their Panto ‘Aladdin’. It was very much enjoyed… comments from the children ‘I want to watch it again&again’ ‘I got 3 high 5’s from Aladdin’ and ‘It was the best ever’. High praise from staff too! Thank you to the team of actors who came!🎭

Our choir did us proud tonight, singing at Easthampsted Baptist Church with @thepinesprimary and @BirchHillSch A lovely Christmassy evening! Next stop for HWPS is the Pensioners Christmas tea tomorrow and then the Lexicon on Saturday! 🎄🌟🎄🎅🏼🎶🎵🎼🎤
