This confuses *tactics* with *ideology*. Wokism says that all groups are innately the same, therefore disparities must be the result of injustice, i.e., white wickedness. Elites and most young people still believe that! But 10 years of Twitter mobs, pronouns, and tearing down statues didn’t bring about equality—in fact, it just provoked a chud backlash. So wokesters are experimenting with violence and Third Worldism. When that fails, they will try something else. Wokism is a rational response to the false empirical belief in group sameness. As long as race denial remains the orthodox view, wokism (in some incarnation) will be the dominant ideology among people who are smart enough to understand its logic.
