The Sabres are just lucky that Boston was sleeping the whole first period and couldn’t get anything going offensively and hit a few posts and that Lyon made some good saves actually and that they capitalized on a lot of their chances and they defended pretty well too honestly and that the PK was solid also and that they took the energy out of the crowd in a huge game. This is all just luck.

6 significant contributors to the Bills defense are still unsigned: Bosa, Epenesa, Tre White, Shaq, Poyer and Milano. Considering what the current roster looks like— I would say Shaq and Epenesa would be the most interesting candidates to bring back but the price needs to right on 1-2 year deals.
