1/ When a platform holds your funds in a shared
wallet, you are trusting that platform 100%.
If they get hacked → your funds are gone.
If they exit scam → your funds are gone.
If their server goes down → your funds are frozen.
This has happened to DOZENS of platforms.
So we don't Hold your funds on our platform!!
2/ On ሀBirr we do it differently.
Your USDT never sits on our platform between trades.
It only enters escrow for the exact duration
of ONE trade and goes straight to the buyer
the moment the trade confirms.
3/ Here is exactly how our escrow works:
1. Seller deposits USDT for that specific trade
2. Our agent verifies the transaction on-chain
3. Buyer sends ETB via CBE or Telebirr
4. Seller confirms receipt

For now Disputes Escrow agents manually review every case with on-chain & ETB proof and then Funds will be released to whoever is right, but we are trying to put a verification layer from verify.et .
For Tron . . . we Started with Base/Arbitrum/Optimism for low fees. Tron may come later.

@HaBirrP2P our latency is on average 600ms-1000ms, but based on banks, it differ, like awash have the fastest at 1.5-2 second, also telebirr 1.5-3second, cbe takes like 6-8 seconds.
since we have a caching layer for repeat checks it is instant and also one you verify the latency goes down

@HaBirrP2P The sentence "That isn't risk worth Taking.." says it all. Do you think rug pull is risk taking? If so, you are validating that uf you do, it is risk taking. So, when major exchange comeback you rather take risk which in Ur case rug pull😶

Yeah, valid concerns .. transparency is key in this space. Our fees are 5% total, split between buyer and seller (2.5% each).
Yes, it's on the higher side right now, and we're upfront that we want to build a sustainable business. We're not here to do one big rug and disappear.
