@Clay_Rebirth well i hope it means that the os is getting more transparent more gradient more blur like ios gemini app but there were pixel glow leaks and it was tide to gemini i hope it not just gemini integration with android and it will be really about design language of os

J’ai très hâte de découvrir ce que Google va nous proposer 👀 En analysant cette petite vidéo, on peut voir un changement de couleur majeur du petit Bot, qui passe de vert à transparent, ce qui coïncide avec les changements apportés par les versions actuelles d’Android 17, indiquant l’arrivée d’un look beaucoup plus transparent pour l’OS, mais pas que ! Si on regarde de plus près, on peut également apercevoir deux choses à l’intérieur du corps du Bot. La première, ce sont ces petits points qui forment des vagues multicolores, à l’image du redesign de Gemini sur iOS. La seconde, ce sont les couleurs de Google en dégradé à l’intérieur de sa bouche ainsi que de son bras gauche qui rappellent très fortement le redesign fuité des icônes des apps de Google. Avec toutes ces informations, à quoi peut-on s’attendre pour cette conférence ? À priori, on devrait assister à un redesign majeur de l’OS, beaucoup plus travaillé, plus fluide, intégrant beaucoup plus de transparence, de dégradés, et s’éloignant des codes actuels du material design très plat. On peut également s’attendre à une intégration plus profonde de Gemini dans l’OS, avec un contexte personnel, à l’instar de ce qu’on a pu voir dans les présentations d’Apple (aujourd’hui supprimées) censées nous montrer le « nouveau Siri » (qui sera d’ailleurs finalement basé sur Gemini d’iOS sortant un jour). Ce qui est également confirmé à l’heure actuelle, c’est qu’Android n’ira PAS sur le terrain du Liquid Glass, il va conserver son identité propre. On sait également que cette mise à jour apportera la compatibilité entre Quick Share et AirDrop, ainsi que le mode PC (façon Dex de Samsung) en branchant son appareil à un écran externe. En bref, Android 17 s’annonce effectivement comme la plus grosse mise à jour de l’histoire d’Android. Ça va être très très lourd !

@Rajesh11113366 @MaazMz i wish they integrated it and stack as normal but i guess there is no pop up for call so we cant rotate between other live notifications on status bar so thats why it seperated because it will limit the scroll to other live notifications on status bar

I like multiple live activity pill on One UI they stack up after 2 i think..

@Studento @TheGalox_ s5 was also replaceable battery and have ip rating . ip is nothing to do with replaceable battery and for thinness we saw with edge and air phones are already thin enough couple 0. 3 mm not hurt anyone

@TheGalox_ And where LG is now !? Come on! Replaceable batteries mean more expensive, less reliable, less thin, more complicated water and dust resistance, and so on. The consumer will pay for this madness.

The EU has done much more good than harm with smartphone regulations The upcoming battery replacement mandate enters next year. I think it'll be up to them to define what an easy at home replacement is A look at LG shows us the different ways a battery can be easily replaced

Samsung had the opportunity and time to make nowbar like this but they didn't. The only good design in nowbar is blur and that's it

@OutofGalaxyy @tarunvats33 but it is dynamic so it need to change the shape it look good that it gave animations but problem is that it need to start change the shape more higher so it not clip with the circle of the slider bottom part

@tarunvats33 I know that when you have higher volume and brightness they look fine. I’m talking specifically about the times when brightness/volume are low. Because then specifically the filling starts changing shape.

@The1UX i like how it is integrated with notifications and call and how media player or timer can get bigger and stay on lockscreen is much more useful

@itsyaboimaxoo I guess you are French enough not to know what a VoIP call is. What you show is not connected over VoIP, and the Pixel one is also VoIP. They said it works on Wi-Fi and 4G, which is how VoIP works, so enable VoIP calls on Samsung and try it again.

J'avais déjà mentionné ici la différence GIGANTESQUE de qualité d'appel entre Samsung & Apple/Google. J'avais qualifié la qualité d'appel de Samsung vers les fixes de "qualité 2G". Je vous propose donc de constater par vous même le ravin entre les deux qualités d'appel. Détails techniques: iPhone 17 Pro Max vs Galaxy S26 Ultra. Technologie utilisées: VoNR, Vo-Wi-Fi.

@footy27_ Well actually they can give up on their own apps and work with Google to skin them to One UI aesthetics.There is a phone app that will use a calling card and Samsung also has its own version so merging them would make it better across all Android devices or any other app features

The solution to this problem is simple: Samsung should work with Google to skin the app to better fit their UI! I do hope this doesn't mean Samsung is giving up on supporting their own apps
