It took almost two months of the Left’s lawfare before I thought to ask: do you have a peer that you respect going through these court cases in a similar fashion but talking about how these are principled judicial actions backed up by case law and jurisprudence? If so, who? I assumed that this was all TDS/EDS. Further, the Article II arguments are reasonable to me. However, I’m not a constitutional lawyer and I haven’t actually looked for any opinions that might justify all the TROs. Seperately, thank you for sharing your expertise.

While my background check is still in progress, my ultimate goal is to work with the Administration to cut waste and improve efficiency. What began as a side hobby became a mission when I uncovered the role of NGOs in these issues. This is not about left or right. This is about us—the people. I gave up everything for this—my safety, my career—because I believe in what I am doing. I am 100% Deaf and nonverbal. My lack of signing fluency does not make me any less Deaf. It is a result of a language impairment related to my autism called expressive dysphasia, which affects my ability to construct language fluently in real-time. This impacts my signing, speaking, and even writing, though writing allows me more time to correct mistakes. My interpreter and I spend hours refining my talking points to ensure she conveys what I mean, not just what I say. I am Deaf. And being Deaf is not, and should never be, defined by one’s signing ability, particularly when there are medical conditions involved. I do not believe the Deaf community should be politically aligned with any party. A priority of mine has always been on holding the Administration accountable to Deaf Americans, including advocating for policy changes such as allowing a second interpreter camera stream on television broadcasts. I will continue using my platform to push for these necessary changes.

I’m looking for general laborer first. I want to make sure that I’m physically up for construction work and the general lifestyle before I waste anyone’s time. I’m also assuming that working on a construction site will provide exposure to different trades and opportunities available in construction. While it is likely that I’ll specialize eventually, I’d like to know more about the different trades before I decide.

How do you find construction work at an entry level? I don’t know anyone who works in the industry. I’ve looked online but - possibly because of the season - I haven’t been able to find anything listed here in N. Virginia. There are a few active construction sites in my area but outside looking in I haven’t been able to identify the subcontractors doing the work. On Reddit, I’ve seen advice to simply walk onto the site and ask if they’re hiring. Others have said that isn’t how it is done anymore. Anyone have experience or advice they can share?

Is it rude, unsafe or otherwise improper for me to walk onto your actual work site? Maybe it’s because I’m doing the 10h OSHA course or that I’m coming from a white-collar background, I’ve yet to do it despite it being less than a mile from my house. Once I’m on-site, do I ask for the foreman? Where the office is? Thank you in advance for your time.

I would suggest that you see who the GC is typically on site they will have a sign who is mainly running the project, then find them online. Word of mouth is how my guys get my attention for a potential hire. The few people that have came on my job site asking if we are hiring have never followed through.

I'm intrigued by the subscription racket uncovered by DOGE. Turns out many of these publications would not be viable without taxpayers footing the bill for subscriptions for government employees.
