‼️BREAKING‼️ GTBank has increased the quarterly international spend limit (for POS and online transactions) on its naira debit cards from $6,000 to 20,000 USD Meaning you can now spend $80,000 in a year instead of $24,000 in a year. This is what happens when… - There is improved liquidity in Nigeria’s foreign exchange (FX) market due to rising national foreign reserves. - President Tinubu’s ongoing economic reforms unified exchange rates, attracted more inflows, and reduced shortages - The exchange rate is stable as official and parallel market/black market rates have narrowed, eliminating arbitrage. The reforms are working - the common man had access to even more money to make foreign payments.

#GTbank 🇳🇬 ✅ How it Started Vs How it’s Going The transaction limit on our cards $4000 per year before $24,000 per year now How & why? Walk with me. ============================ The Pre Tinubu Crisis 1 - Before the appointment of the CBN governor Yemi Cardoso, Nigeria had multiple exchange rate regimes 1 - Official Rate ❌ 2 - Investors & Exporters Rate ❌ 3 - Bureau de Change (BDC) Rate ❌ 4 - Retail Rate❌ 5 - Black Market/Unofficial rate❌ This multi-window structure was one of the most criticised aspects of Emefiele’s tenure. It was opaque, it was corrupt, it was destroying the economy and it strongly discouraged foreign investment. 2 - No FX reserves: As a country… In 2021 - we had only $15billion In 2022 - We had only $8billion In 2023 - We had only $4billion This drop meant 🇳🇬 did not have enough dollars available to meet external obligations & we didn’t have any dollars for your amazon, Netflix or twitter subscriptions. ============================ The Tinubu Miracle 1 - Within 17 days of being in office, new CBN leadership under President Tinubu direction unified all windows into a single market-determined rate✅ 2 - Cardoso 🇳🇬 created the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) system, where the true price of the Naira was determined by the “willing buyer, willing seller” model✅ Once this reform was done, 🇳🇬 witnessed an immediate surge and inflow of foreign exchange and we cleared a $7 billion in outstanding obligations owed to banks, airlines, manufacturers, and others✅ Today we have $50billion in our reserves, so today when you can take your Naira Debit Card and swipe it anyhow, anywhere and on any website, remember there was a time, it was not possible✅ This rebound clearly shows the power of the visionary #reforms by Tinubu, Yemi Cardoso and Wale Edun. A formidable triple threat! When we say Relax #Tinubu is fixing Nigeria, we’re talking facts, not noise. ✌🏾

If you want to have a good laugh and also feel sad this morning, go to the Cruise channel on Youtube and watch this debate. 1 Tinubu supporter vs 20 opposition supporters. Yes, the youth talk with passion but conversations are often devoid of core principles and knowledge. The young people have a lot to learn about governance structure, economics, public finance, and government policies. This is failure on the part of the NOA and the APC. Political parties aren't just established to win elections. Parties are meant to educate young voters and keep them informed. Uninformed voters are a negative to democracy. The APC after several years should have solid Policy and governance platforms in our universities, a mini NESG. Chief Obafemi Awolowo did this with the UPN. The APC youth leader is busy chasing politicians around and playing PS 5. He doesn't participate in twitter spaces, he does impact knowledge or advocate for policy shifts. I haven't seen any article or policy paper authored by him. A complete waste of space.

This miss. Baggio, the reigning Ballon d’Or winner at the time, literally carried a very poor Italian team on his back to the final with help from Signori, EVERY SINGLE ITALIAN GOAL in ALL the knockout games leading to the final—2 in every match. Came closest to scoring a winning goal during the final match. And he did all these playing with an ice pack on his thigh throughout because he was injured. In the final moment because his legs were SO NUMB from playing four knockout games while injured—with 2 of them going to 120 minutes, he chose go for power instead of his usual impeccable placement. Football can be so cruel. Italy finally won the World Cup again in 2006—and that they won it on penalties was poetic. Yet you can see what that miss still means to Baggio over 30yrs later. And any footballer that calls the World Cup just a 7 game tournament is not deserving of ever smelling a World Cup.

Roberto Baggio is still apologizing after more than 30 years...everyone returned from the World Cup, yet he's still standing there😮‍💨💔

I just randomly remembered when I was younger and people used to mock the shape of my head by saying singing "Isu, eyin, ororo, frying pan". It got me thinking, what's the biggest/craziest roast you all have ever heard? I once heard someone say; "You look like someone that was drawn with the left hand".

The spell that Bruno has over this fanbase needs to be studied. Should’ve gone into politics with that ability to sway masses in his favor. Quite impressive. He has people beefing Roy Keane to defend him 😂

6 years at Manchester United and people can’t even name one truly iconic Bruno Fernandes moment. 3 managers sacked since he arrived. The only trophies he has won came under Erik ten Hag, the same manager some of them mocked. Maguire was disrespected and forced to hand him the captain’s armband. Manchester United made him one of their highest-paid players, gave him the keys, gave him the armband, gave him the spotlight and still, there’s no significant achievement for the club. Now the first time United are picking up a little, thanks to Michael Carrick’s influence, he’s making the noise about breaking an assist record. That’s exactly what Roy Keane is talking about. At a club like Manchester United, team success should always come before personal stats. Players caring more about individual records than trophies is becoming embarrassing. Maybe that’s the Portugal influence he picked up from Cristiano Ronaldo.
