Hack The Hague

Helaas is er dit jaar geen Hâck the Hague. Door andere evenementen binnen de gemeente Den Haag was er onvoldoende ruimte om het goed te organiseren. Zodra we nieuws hebben over de volgende editie, horen jullie dat! #HackTheHague #Cybersecurity

The first prize for Hâck The Hague 2024 was awarded to hackers who were able to change something in a web portal. This finding also had a high severity. #HTH24

Findings #HTH24: 🏆 The third prize was won for a finding with an average severity level: incorrect input could lead to a portal failure. 🏆 The second prize went to a report with a high severity, where poor segmentation of the network caused a large attack surface.

Findings Hâck The Hague 2024: 🏆 The first honorable mention was a vulnerability with a low severity, with a concrete feasible suggestion for improving the system. 🏆 The second honorable mention had an average severity, because it could have a possible financial impact. #HTH24

Yesterday was a blast! Hâck. We loved seeing all hackers working on OT with their laptops and tools and the hackers loved the new challenge. Several unique reports of vulnerabilities were received. Three cash prizes were awarded for this: €3,072, €1,536 and €768. #HTH24

Today the OT of The Hague will be hacked. 40 honest hackers will search for vulnerabilities during the 6th edition of Hâck The Hague. Think of charging stations, traffic lights and camera's. What will they find? Visit #HTH24 at the City Hall (Spui 70) from 10:00h-17:00h.

Vandaag zijn de digitale systemen van Den Haag getest door 116 ethische hackers. Tijdens de 6 uur durende wedstrijd zijn 65 unieke meldingen van kwetsbaarheden ingediend. Zes meldingen hadden een hoog risico. Nog eens zes meldingen direct opgelost. #HTH23
