Today we have been out watching horses in glorious weather as the eventing season gets underway. It’s a real sign of spring in the air so we have come home feeling that winter is now packed away🤞. I did need a nap part way through 😏

@Pipisadog A dog trainer I know that was helping me ( she has 2 borders) said that after working with lots of dogs over lots of years that Border Terriers ' are up there' meaning they are really not the same as other dogs. I had to agree after I stopped laughing.

Mom and dad thought the were getting a dog. Ha. They got a Border Terrier.

@BatesHeckie My old BT cross lost her sight first and she coped well. But we noticed a change in her when she lost her hearing as her hearing helped her get around the house. She would still go for walks though- and never missed a step.

The Royal Commission also found: •⁠ ⁠Around half of Hipkins’ $60b COVID spend-up had nothing to do with the pandemic •⁠ ⁠The spend-up fuelled inflation, meaning higher mortgages, and prices of everyday items •⁠ Health advice was ignored that the two-dose vaccine mandates should not apply to teenagers due to health risks •⁠ ⁠Hipkins left the country with far less flexibility to respond to future crises National has spent the past two years rebuilding the economy to help Kiwis get ahead. The last thing NZ needs is a Labour-Greens-Te Pāti Māori government who wants to tax, spend and borrow more, taking us backwards.
