While things didn't go as planned on the field for us; we did get great news that our @Hadleymadson had successful surgery on her knee & is back home starting her road to recovery!! While we are excited to get back on the field today; our thoughts & prayers are focused right now back home as our @Hadleymadson has her surgery this AM. While we may have come up a couple runs short in the Championship game…a 7-1 weekend & Runner-up finish @TCNfastpitch National Championships is nothing to hang our heads at. We played 3 unbelievably talented & well coached teams yesterday (@08AthleticsNat @OKAthletics @warrioracademy_ ) & competed pitch by pitch all the way to the final out. This was our annual ‘college simulation’ trip…so LOTS of togetherness as a team and it showed on and off the field. We grew from the week prior & the girls played for one another & competed their tails off all weekend long and that’s all you can ask for. Been a grind these last 2 weeks…so we’ll take this week off to rest and recover and get ready to head to CO for the Sparkler Power Pool next week. After an unfortunate play on the field my summer 2025 season has came to an end. This also directly impacts my high school season with the Silverhawks. I'm headed towards recovery. I've had "pre-hab" and have a surgery date of July 2nd for ACL reconstruction and medial and lateral meniscus repair. Using this situation as an opportunity to grow and mature as an athlete. As I will be supporting my teammates from the sidelines l'm commmitted to use this time to grow mentally in the sport. I'm excited to come back a better teammate, athlete, and person.
