@FarhanN78265394 @SweeperPod It’s more to do with the fact that the suburb doesn’t need two sports clubs. They’re also going to better children’s sport participation in the neighbourhood because the don’t really need two in my opinion

🇮🇸 Strange news coming out of Iceland, where two rival second-tier clubs ÍR Reykjavík and Leiknir are contemplating a potential merger. The new club would reportedly be named Breiðholt after the Reykjavík suburb they come from & would participate in all men & women's leagues.
