This initiative is part of the TOGETHER Project, implemented in partnership with Finn Church Aid (FCA) and generously funded by the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO)

Today, Hopelink Action Foundation (HAF) Uganda officially kicked off the Journey of Life Training under the TOGETHER Project. The training brings together the frontline workers to strengthen psychosocial support for children, families, and communities.

The exercise carried out in coordination with OPM-Kyangwali, UNHCR, and Alight under the DRC Emergency Response Project aimed to enhance the dignity, safety, and wellbeing of newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers by equipping them with vital relief items.

This week, Hopelink Action Foundation (HAF) Uganda, with support from the War Child Alliance, successfully distributed essential Non-Food Items (NFIs) at Kagoma Reception Centre in Kyangwali. #DRCEmergencyResponseProject

The meeting brought together partners from Uganda and Rwanda to share experiences, best practices under iCBS (integrated Community-Based Sociotherapy) Project, with a shared goal of strengthening mental health support, peacebuilding, and resilience in conflict-affected regions.

This morning, HAF Uganda participated in a joint mission visit and bilateral meeting under the Connecting for Peace Project, facilitated by TPO Uganda, the Netherlands Embassy in Rwanda, and CBS Rwanda, at Flight View Hotel, Gulu.

Finding Joy Again, Vivian Amoding’s Journey to Belonging! At just 14 years old, Vivian, a South Sudanese refugee currently living in Palorinya Refugee Settlement, carried a burden of loneliness and fear for living far from her home.......

She lost familiar comforts with just a handful of friends, always scared of interacting and playing with her peers, this deepened her isolation until she joined TeamUp, a program implemented by HAF Uganda to promote psychological well-being and social connectedness for children..
