One thing that doesn't get talked about enough in music production is ways to pre-blur transients. It's a great way to make things gel together and sound organic. When all your transients are on the grid it can sound robotic and stale. Here are my favourite ways of doing this:

Cymatics is the study of visible sound & vibration. By sending sound waves through matter such as sand on a plate a cornstarch and water mixture, various geometric patterns emerge depending on the frequency and amplitude of the sound being played.

...I see they *have* listened to it, and I'm now waiting for some kind of response, which I know I may never get.
On that note, as a rule of thumb, we respond to ALL demo submissions to Manjumasi (unless we've been bcc'd in a mass email...then we don't even listen)
The obsession that consumes me when I send demos to a label and repeatedly refresh my soundcloud link to see if they've listened.
And the relief when I see that it hasn't been listened to, since at least they haven't had a chance to reject it yet.
