@whs1243 There are definitely many good stats that don't make the list here due to space but I've pulled the pitching staff runs allowed for each team as you asked for. MSU has allowed 216 total runs (197 earned) TAMU has allowed 236 total runs (218 earned)

That’s a good overview. The one more stat I’d like to see on there, runs allowed. You’ve got ERA, fielding percentage, and errors. But as a team the difference between an earned and unearned run is irrelevant. Your brain is trying to combine those three stats I listed to get to the important defensive stat: runs allowed. Or perhaps runs allowed per game. But because the offensive stat listed is simply runs, I’d say runs allowed.

We'll have a deep dive on Coach Parker's tenure with MSU after this season ends when we have 3 years of results to analyze, but here's a sneak peak: In the 174 games leading up to Coach Parker's arrival, the Bulldogs pitching staff had an average ERA of 5.8. In 174 games under Coach Parker, the Bulldogs have an average ERA of 4.1 (which leads the SEC in that span).
