This is how I got it. I patronised @HajaarNG for a piece of Kaftan in Abuja in 2023 and it cost me N100k (fabric + sowing). Simple basic, piece. Upcoming fashion outfit. I was at the outlet and saw the number of other orders. Now, Seyi Vodi sells fabrics and sews for bigger people. He is well-known in Nigeria’s fashion-conscious class. So it’s reasonable to estimate than the average cost (fabric + sewing) will be at least 10x my price. =N1m per outfit on average. Getting 2 orders per day is not out of place. = N1m * 2 orders * 350 days = N700m If I allow for 40% margin of error in my estimate, that’s about N500m left as annual turnover.
