@SteeleThoughts You and I both know that, however the general public often looks at dress as an expression of professionalism. When I go to teacher conferences and see dress,I often see educators look like they are on vacation. We as educators often say we are not treated as professionals…

There are outstanding teachers around the country who work every day in jeans.  There are mediocre teachers around the country who work every day in jeans.  The variable here is not denim.  I’m all about “professionalism”... but that concept is about much more than fabric.
