@tofeelhealed My defense of IA will always be their commitment to strong instrumentation over digitalization + they rip live, but valid that they really don’t engage with the “core” side of things by any stretch
to make this project more interesting/painful im gonna revisit modern metalcore/octancore albums that are held in high regard by the side of twitter that doesnt know what metalcore is, wish me luck
@droptunedjake It’s weird, from a songwriting standpoint none of the tracks necessarily do anything wrong, but it really lacks a cohesiveness that made all of their previous releases special. Feels more “pop star” instead of singer-songwriter like it used to be
