@HMRCcustomers I've been trying to call the self assessment helpline today, but there is something wrong with the voice answering machine. It is almost impossible to understand!
@HalfBiscuits I suggest calling the helpline before 10am as it’s generally less busy at that time. Webchat is available until 10pm and the link to start a chat will be visible once an adviser is available. Saif
@HMRCcustomers I have a secure message saying that the return has been processed, which is why I was surprised by the mis-match. Webchat advisers seem to be all busy at the moment. Can you suggest a good time to catch them?
@HalfBiscuits The payment on account will show on the calculation once the return has been processed so you will need to speak to the helpline to see if this has been done. You can start a webchat with a self assessment adviser via the link: gov.uk/government/org…. Saif
