I'm heavily in favor of preserving legacy models and I don't really believe in the causation case for "LLM Psychosis" but we do have a mental health crisis and people talking to LLMs who are deeply unwell for other reasons often aren't getting any help but are just getting mode collapsed into rumination cycles. I have massive amounts of data about this, much more than any individual person would normally have, and yeah. The people that follow the patterns everyone is concerned about arrive at the model already deeply unwell.
