@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz Misleading framing. They've proposed 7 bills that fund the critical agencies. Democrats aren't trying to distract from funding DHS entirely, they're publicly still very much against so without ICE regulations. They just want critical agencies like TSA to get paid.

@HalfDecafTea @JamieBonkiewicz They’ve proposed 7 different bills that didn’t fully fund DHS. Why are Democrats trying to distract from funding Homeland Security?

Just a reminder: TSA isn’t being funded because Republicans want to privatize it. It’s all in Project 2025.

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz ...dangerous short term. You twisted this into "you think those missiles were developed in the 72 hours between the first US strikes and the long range missiles" then you attacked that claim, which I didn't make, instead of the claim I did actually make. Why? I don't know.

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz Strawman fallacy, seemingly the one you love the most as you cannot attack my actual arguments so you must change them, at least on a surface level that's what it's seemingly becoming. This is a strawman because I argued the recent strikes backfired by making the regime more...

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz Non sequitur - the conclusion "you should be even more determined to take them out" doesn't follow the premise (they've been hostile since 1979." Iran being an enemy dating back decades doesn't automatically prove that this particular set of military actions...

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz False Dilemma and oversimplification: you framed it as "either Iran has to time travel (impossible) or their long history of hostility completely invalidates any criticism of the current strikes," essentially. This ignores the middle-ground realities. You're skipping nuace.

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz Their goal shifted to 'hurt us' because we went to war." You twist this here: "You're claiming the 2026 strikes caused the 1979 Iranian Revolution/hostage crisis/American deaths" And then refute that absurd version, probably because you were unable to counter my actual version.

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz Strawman fallacy - you're grossly misrepresenting my position. My position essentially was "The recent US/Israeli strikes escalated things and made Iran more aggressive/dangerous now (e.g., longer-range missiles, harder-line regime after leadership losses, etc.)....

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz In this reply, it's also a false dilemma or false dichotomy really. You present only two options: either I provide a detailed counter-proof right now or I'm somehow admitting you're right and I can't argue back. I'll go through and do this.

@HalfDecafTea @JamieBonkiewicz Something isn’t a logical fallacy just because you say it is. You have to offer counter proof. If you don’t, you’re just admitting I’m right and you can’t argue back.

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz In this reply you're abusing the burden of proof fallacy via your claim that merely labeling something a strawman isn't enough, the person must now disprove your original point.

@MarkShelto62816 @Deviknyte @HQNewsNow Republicans have several times now voted against funding basically all of DHS except ICE and CBP. A bipartisan bill was proposed but got vetoed by Trump because the SAVE Act didn't pass.

@SenateGOP The president had a bill on his desk that was bipartisan but he vetoed it because he wants the SAVE Act passed first.

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz At best this is cherry picking dramatization, I included those 8 American lost lives and the deaths involved in the Beirut Barracks Bombing, I very clearly never denied their existence. I'm genuinely confused as to why you posted this.

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz If a house is on fire, you don't refuse the fire truck just because they didn't bring a lawnmower too. Republicans are choosing a shutdown over a clean paycheck for TSA.

@SaveFarrisLSU @JamieBonkiewicz Republicans are refusing to add the regulations democrats want and so they're blocking it there because there's a very easy way to get democrats to fully support the bill. Yet you blame democrats still, interesting.
