@DetectivEsse Those are actually 3D models as they're made of various planes...just a much simpler model compared to the "thicker" ones from the other 3D games and such.

@ImmatureGamer Do there happen to be any exposed utilities related to mesh import (not like fbx import, I mean in-engine MeshDescription building) and material instance creation?

@xirbie the emulator is technically feature complete (minus proper accel step tracking)
the plan is to have a mobile app where you can communicate over wifi to an emulator or use a USB IR dongle with a real DS

@GoldenExpIosion Memory usage is much better on V4, assets are lazily loaded now so you aren't loading the entirety of an assets section at once and there's a lot more caching
I personally have seen an improvement in both memory usage and performance but we'll see!!

Quick update from me:
When remaking stuff in UEFN I've come across the issue of PP2 textures a lot (Wind textures)
FModel cannot correctly export them, neither can Fortnite Porting
but JAA can, so I went ahead and dumped every single PP2 texture in FN rn, for you guys:

(This will only really be useful for other people that recreate assets, but I still thought I'd share this)

@piiinatttu_yuki only enable the landscape export flag under the "main level" section and press export
it will export the whole map landscape, and you can delete the parts you don't want
