I look after everyone who willingly considers themselves part of my family, and everywhere I go I always do my best to invite folks to join me either for food or fellowship. It means the world to me to have my extended family spend time with my immediate family, and the love shown to my children tonight has put a smile on this old man's face. Irritable. Lonely. Exhausted in a way sleep doesn’t immediately fix. That doesn’t mean you did something wrong. It means your nervous system just came down from a really intense high. So today: Drink water. Eat something with actual nutrients. Take your meds. Shower. Rest. Answer texts later if you need to. Be gentle with yourself while your brain catches back up. You are not “back to normal” overnight after days full of connection, noise, movement, excitement, and people. Take care of yourself.

I know I haven’t said much on Dreamhack yet, But this was a much needed mental trip with these people of mine. No one truly understands how much I needed this mentally and physically but I’m so glad we were able to do this again, I I’ll be forever grateful for it. @DreamHackNA
