Katelyn Taylor has been outstanding all season for the SL softball team and, by firing a complete game shutout against Plymouth North, she won recognition as our "Jersey Mike's Laker Player of the Week" for Week 3 (4/6-4/12) of the spring season!

Sophomores Gia Dever and Ava Walters both won their matches but the SL girls' tennis team fell to Marshfield, 3-2, on Thurday. After the school break, the Lakers (1-5) will host Plymouth South on Monday 4/27.

The SL softball team scored twice in the bottom of the 7th inning to earn a thrilling, 4-3, walk-off victory against Marshfield on Thursday. The Lakers (5-1) will carry a 4-game winning streak when they travel to Wachusett on Wednesday.

Silver Lake 🥎 rallies in the bottom of the 7th to complete the 4-3 comeback vs Marshfield. Madisyn Thompson and Megan Arseneau led off the inning with singles, Katelyn Taylor’s sacrifice tied it up and Payton Scuilli walked it off. The Lakers are now 5-1 (4-0 Patriot League).

Silver Lake 🥎 bats stay hot with a 17-0 win over Scituate. Madisyn Thompson, Megan Arseneau, Anna Craft 💣, Katelyn Taylor, Payton Sciulli and Shaelynn Fredey all had multiple hits for the Lakers. K. Taylor got the win in the ⭕️w/9ks, 2H. SL is now 3-1 (3-0).

Silver Lake 🥎 completed the comeback against a great hitting Duxbury squad 12-11. Anna Craft 3-4 💣🐤🐤🐤, Katelyn Taylor 2-4 🐤🐤, Miranda Johnson 2-4 🐤and Payton Scuilli 1-3 💣🐤🐤🐤. Taylor guts it out in the ⭕️ holding them scoreless in the last two innings for the win.

A salute to Allie Cheverie (weight throw) and Paul Beauchesne (high jump), Silver Lake's representatives at today's Meet of Champions!

Breaking news: Paul Beauchesne (high jump) and Allie Cheverie (weight throw) have qualified for the MIAA Meet of Champions! Both senior track captains will carry plenty of Laker Pride with them to the TRACK at New Balance on Saturday!

Over the past few days, Laker gymnast Heidi Dow has 1) helped her team secure a league title; 2) achieved "Patriot League All Star" recognition; and 3) earned "Jersey Mike's Player of the Week" honors for Week 9 of the winter season. She's on a roll!

Cori Chapman scored in double figures but the SL girls' basketball team fell to Bishop Fenwick in the first round of the Oliver Ames Holiday Tournament earlier today. The Lakers (1-3) will play OA in the consolation round on Monday at noon.

A salute to Paul Beauchesne, whose record-breaking performance in the high jump helped him to win the first "Player of the Week" honors for the winter season!

Nolan Hughes '20 returned to Silver Lake this morning to share the story of his journey to professional baseball. A two-sport captain during his Laker days, Nolan met with our current team captains and delivered a master class in player leadership!

The Reggie Lewis Center was abuzz last night, when Paul Beauchesne set a new school record with a leap of 6'2.25" in the high jump. What a start to the winter sports season!
