Osmanlı Devleti'nin son dönemine ait orijinal bir ilkokul diploması, dönemin eğitim sistemi hakkında çarpıcı detaylar ortaya koydu. Konya'nın Bozkır ilçesi Kovanlık Köyü'nde yaşayan bir kişinin amcasına ait olan diplomada, Kur'an-ı Kerim'den Arapça ve Farsça'ya, hendese (mühendislik) ve hıfzıssıhhaya (koruyucu sağlık) kadar toplam 17 farklı ders bulunuyor.
▪️ Belgede her ders için ayrı öğretmen imzası dikkat çekerken, ilkokul seviyesinde verilen 'Sülüs' ve 'Rik'ah' gibi hat sanatı derslerinin günümüzde Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi düzeyinde okutulduğu vurgulandı. Ortaokul kısmında ise 'Ulum-i Diniye' (Dini İlimler) ve 'İlmi Ahlak' gibi ileri seviye derslerin yer aldığı görüldü.
▪️ Sahibi tarafından 'eğitim sistemimizle mukayese edeceğiz' notuyla paylaşılan belge, Osmanlı eğitim sisteminin hem milli kimlik hem de evrensel bilgi dengesini nasıl kurduğunu gösterdi. Özellikle ilkokulda 'Tarih-i Osmani' ile öğrencinin önce kendi tarihini öğrenmesi, ortaokulda diğer devletlerin tarihlerine geçilmesi dikkat çeken diğer bir ayrıntı oldu.
