@kelly_peanut523 @HallHoopsNJ I too think about it. BUT than I quickly remember One and Done Big Willie Style was head coach and figure we would have lost in 1st round heartbreaker in West region to University of Santa Barbara and all is good!

It’s on days like tonight when the Sweet Sixteen & Elite 8 weekend kicks off, I find myself reminiscing… What could have been with the 2019-20 Seton Hall squad, wish we got to see these guys play in the tournament 🥲

@BryanIi39046 Valid points, the CU game was closer than final score… they had our number that year (and many others lol) That team was more than Powell though, ie: Maryland win Wish we had to the chance to see it play out

@HallHoopsNJ Would have been tough. Powell’s knee was in bad shape. Got absolutely stomped by Creighton in the last game of the regular season. Not sure we would have reached the second weekend.

@BillZotti No guarantees obviously but they had incredible size that would’ve given a ton of teams issues. What could’ve been!

Seton Hall’s season ended 11 days ago, missing the games already! Off-season wise: All has been quiet with the roster. The portal opens in early April, so I expect things to pick up soon I think we’d all like most guys back Do I expect it? I hope 🤷‍♂️ Follow along for updates!

Music to our ears. While the defensive first approach won them ballgames, it was not sustainable over a 30 game stretch. Having few legitimate shooters on the roster all too often required a perfect game (or 2nd half) from the defense when frequentlty playing from behind.

@HallBasketball3 Portal may not be official open but I’m quite certain there a lot of talking and recruiting going on during these tournaments.

The Pirates season is officially over. Kinda surprised at this, there could be injuries we don’t know about or just not falling behind in the recruiting cycle. Pirates finish the 2025-26 season at 22-12 & 11-11 in Big East play.

@DaveAlgonquin3 @PTonero True, that’s what I’ve been reading. Obviously, there is concern some of these guys don’t wanna play to avoid injury and dash somewhere else — either way, not upset about it either.

@HallBasketball3 @PTonero I think you can pull out, but only if you agree not to play in the NIT or anything else. I could be wrong. Either way the Crown kinda sucks so I’m ok with this. Would’ve liked to watch more games but sitting around for 2.5 weeks is dumb.

I know this has been common discourse this week… but sitting here on Selection Sunday it sucks thinking back to the missed opportunities. 15 pt lead at MSG, 8 pt lead at UConn, at Creighton to name a few Weak bubble and limited bid stealers. Disappointing after a 14-2 start

I’d like to believe results even out, there were games the Pirates should’ve lost but won. So you can’t chalk them all up as wins but man there were some good opportunities to pick off a big win.
