I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Dillon Gabriel is a better NFL QB than Shedeur Sanders. What? Yeah. That’s what the numbers say. 2025 completion percentage: Gabriel: 59.5% Sanders: 56.6% 2025 QBR: Gabriel: 31.4 Sanders: 18.9 2025 time to throw (PFF): Gabriel: 2.75 seconds Sanders: 3.30 seconds So, Gabriel makes faster throwing decisions and he’s more accurate? Yeah. Plus, Gabriel’s touchdown to interception ratio isn’t upside down. Gabriel: 7 TD/2INT Sanders: 7TD/10 INT Apples 🍎 to apples 🍎 comparison? Yeah…pretty much Gabriel played in 10 games for the Browns and Sanders played in 8 games for the Browns. But none of this is a surprise to me. I already knew Gabriel would be a better NFL QB than Sanders before they were drafted. I had a 4th round pre-draft grade on Gabriel and an undraftable free agent grade on Sanders pre-draft. The more I watch Caleb Downs on film, the more I think the Browns may not be able to pass on him at six. This is a generational player. Highly intelligent.
