Thoughts on the Habs game 4 loss vs the Lightning:
You can only blame the refs so much, you can only blame the NHL so much.
But at the end of the day, the MTL Canadiens lost again after leading the game, while going 1-6 on the PP last game.
The Habs 1st line of Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsky have ZERO even-strength points after 4 games. That’s not good enough.
Mike Matheson & Alex Carrier were on the ice for two out of three goals against in game 4. That’s not good enough.
The Tampa Bay Lightning have been one of the best franchises in the NHL for years. This was never going to be an easy series.
This Habs team is about to learn who they really are in these next two games. You wanna be the best, you gotta beat the best. They have to move on and move forward from this loss and that goes for the fans as well. It’s a best of 3 series now. This is simply playoff hockey.
