To my mild embarrassment I’ve never read Robert Caro’s “The Power Broker.” When it finally came out on kindle I started it (about 15% in now). It is incredibly well written and researched (though I know some of the opinions are disputed and I haven’t read the other side). I can see why it’s an absolute classic of biography. But it’s still a bazillion page book on urban planning. I can see why there’s never been a TV movie version…
