The Hickory Course at Hamilton Farm is the finest 18-hole par-3 course I’ve ever seen. The course plays to 3,080 yards with each hole measuring between 127 and 229 yards, and it’s USGA rated and sloped (56.4/100). If I were an HFGC member, I would live on this little gem.

The par-4 6th at Hamilton Farm is my favorite on the front side of this 1998 Michael Hurdzan & Dana Fry design. The property here, the use of which dates to 1911, is truly stunning, and the golf courses look like they’ve been here forever. A great concept wonderfully executed.

Got a request for some of my favorite par-3 courses and some of my favorite 9-hole courses. First up, the par-3s: 1. The par-3 course at Friar’s Head 2. The Hickory Course at Hamilton Farm 3. The 13 holes at Bandon Preserve 4. The Palm Beach Par-3 Course All a blast to play.

@HamiltonFarmGC is a wonderful golf EXPERIENCE. 36 holes & always in immaculate condition. When the main gate opens, your blood pressure drops. As you wind your way to the clubhouse, you replace every day worries with a child-like anticipation of what the next 4.5 hrs will bring.

Is the Hickory Course at Hamilton Farm Golf Club the best 18-hole par-3 course in the world? I’ve never played one better. Built in 2001 by Dana Fry & Michael Hurdzan, this 3080yd par-54 is absolutely beautiful, quite the challenge (rating: 57.5 / slope: 98), and tremendous fun.

With the abundance of rain that came through yesterday, we are cart path only for now.. Superintendent’s Revenge Tournament is October 30th- sign up in the Proshop! 🍂
