@DavidStaplesYEG Teachers have the right to collective bargaining under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. If the UCP believes teachers are essential workers, then classify them as such so they have arb rights. Taking away rights is undemocratic and anti-Canadian.

We are told we must be outraged at the UCP for taking away rights. But what if we are OK with teachers getting a big raise, students back in class, parents not having to scramble, and a Constitutional process unfolding as it was designed? Isn’t that better than more strife?
