@KItreal512 @guenondosed @Rashiq__Shahzad You don't need to come up with these copious long explanations, I'm not engaging. Everything you've mentioned here I've addressed multiple times, I apologise if I have shown arrogance or insulted you.

You are all over the place and full of contradictions. Ibn Abi Hatim in his ranking (which itself follows from his father Abu Hatim) lists the rank of ‘shaykh’ as number 3, above the rank of ‘salih al hadith’ which is rank 4. Yet the term we are investigating is ‘shaykh salih’ so it will rank no lower than number 4 (‘salih al hadith). And we see Ibn Hajar says Abu Hatim saying ‘salih al hadith’ for a narrator meant he deemed him reliable. As for your scan it refers to al-Khalili and the name Abu Hatim is nowhere mentioned in that statement. Don’t be so arrogant next time especially when you contradict your own scans lol

@KItreal512 @guenondosed @Rashiq__Shahzad 1. Ibn Abi Haatim didn't use the wording Shaykh Saalih, he used the wording Saalih ul Hadith, for the 3rd time, read this passage properly. 2. Ibn Hajr's statement on "Shaykhun Saalih" is clear, which is what we are discussing. This is getting tedious now, I won't be engaging.

@KItreal512 @guenondosed @Rashiq__Shahzad 😂 Rest. I've shown you his Kalaam, Ibn us Salah has the same understanding, he also attributes this to Ibn Abi Haatim (I haven't checked to see if there's a direct quotation).

@KItreal512 @guenondosed @Rashiq__Shahzad The first part is the Kalaam of Abu Ghuddah, the different categories were explained by خليل مأمون شيحا* Definitely NOT Ibn Hajr, his Kalaam on this matter is clear as shown above.

@KItreal512 @guenondosed @Rashiq__Shahzad This is Ibn us Sarah's book on Uloom ul Hadith. 😂😂😂 Look at what the first category states, then look at what the rest of them state. Please stop with this pseudo scholarship, you're embarrassing yourself.

@HammadMogra @guenondosed @Rashiq__Shahzad Nothing there weakens Abu Hatim’s usage of ‘shaykh salih’. Again read Ibn Hajar’s tahdhib and see yourself Abu Hatim’s usage of ‘shaykh salih’ is mainly in agreement with tawthiq by others

It does not show anything specific to Abu Hatim with evidence. Who says its not tawthiq? Show me evidence of anyone who explicitly said Abu Hatim’s usage of ‘shaykh salih’ is not tawthiq. I provided evidence from Ibn Hajar that he considers it as a form of tadil without any indication of weakness or any need of corroboration.
