I made hardly any progress in the 3 months of working out Why? > I was lifting for 2+ hours, everyday > Sleeping under 5 hours a night Once I shortened my workouts and slept more, I lost more fat and built muscle. Showing up to the gym isn't enough if your recovery is trash

I've spent $500+ on supplements so you don't have to. Most of them are a waste of money. Here are 6 supplements actually worth considering. 1. Whey Protein Great if you're struggling to get enough protein from whole foods. High Protein diets promote fullness and muscle growth. 2. Caffeine Caffeine can increase alertness and provide an energy boost. Be mindful of when you consume it as it can disrupt sleep. Tip: Limit consumption after 12pm 3. Ashwaghandha It's a herb that increases testosterone levels by reducing cortisol. Beneficial for improving recovery and managing stress. 4. Magnesium Magnesium can help relax your body and increase sleepiness. If you're deficient, it may lead to sleep issues. 5. Eggs Okay, not a supplement per say... But eggs deserve a mention for their exceptional nutritional value. They're rich in high-quality protein, essential vitamins and minerals Dosage: 2-4 eggs daily 6. The gym isn't for everyone. It might be inconvenient or intimidating. That doesn't mean you should give up. I started with home workouts until I felt confident to use the gym. You can always start somewhere.
