Hi NRS,@noobde I hosted a $500 tournament for African players yesterday, tried to seek out a Pro kompetition for Africa. However, i think we have bigger issues than a pro event, I ran into serious matchmaking issues that slowed the event down. What should’ve taken a few hours ended up taking over six, just to stream the top 12 matches. youtube.com/live/1a4BFXIJZ… It seems players can’t be in the same KOTH lobby while on the same network. I even tested it with my moderator—we were in the same house, using different accounts and separate PS Plus subscriptions, but the issue kept happening. I’ve spent over $10,000 hosting tournaments across Africa, both online and offline, and have been keeping the African community active. But after today’s experience and all the complaints, I’m worried players won’t come back. I’m not a network expert, but if you can fix these matchmaking problems, I’d be more than happy to keep supporting the African MK scene with more events. Thanks. Kinda disappointed to see the current state of this game rn, but then again with all the stuff we had to deal with such as game breaking bugs (which Is still a thing with GhostFace and needs to be hotfixed) lack of communication from the devs(usually takes them like 2-3 months to address something), no announcement for a season 2 pro komp, which gives most players no motivation to continue playing this game, and overpricing TF out of the DLC expansion, I can't really say I'm not surprised. Imo this game as a whole just feels unfinished because we're still lacking the bare minimum, such as online lobbies/rooms, having a decent PC port so that way cross-play can be stable, stable servers (and apparently some regions like Africa cant even access online mode sometimes and its been like this since release?????), and a decent single-player mode that the casuals can enjoy. I'm no game developer or anything but aye man, I just call things out the way i see it.

One of my guys hosted a $200 Tournament in West Africa(Ghana) and look at how bad the ping was. We literally has to beg for KL matches due to high ping. We still waiting on the day NRS will give us servers. Take a look at this quick video. There are so many talented players in Africa. Recently @Hamza__SOLO went to CEO MK1 tournament in USA and got 9th place, this is even for a region without servers. Imagine what we could do with full blown Servers in our region??
